Making The Case
BLUE PRINTS FOR A BETTER FUTURE
In Spring 2021, a study assessed the feasibility of improving the kitchen, dining hall, and refurbishing the auditorium at Camp Au Sable. It revealed significant issues with the function and durability of the auditorium, prompting discussions on the best path forward.
For more than 70 years, Camp Au Sable has been a hub for families, church members, and ministry leaders. However, the time has come to address the aging and undersized facilities that are struggling to support our mission.
Current Status
The dining hall, built in 1948, and the auditorium, completed in 1994, are beyond their useful lifespans. Both buildings are undersized—40% smaller than needed.
The Solution
Our vision is to build a new 33,400-square-foot facility, nearly double the current space. This building will include a larger dining hall, modern kitchen, and an auditorium with seating for approximately 500, meeting both current and future needs. u003cbru003e u003cbru003eWith your support, we can create a facility that will continue to serve our campers, ministry leaders, and community for generations.
