I started reading a booklet that came in the mail called On The Edge of Time, a condensed Great Controversy. There was a card inside to order the Amazing Facts Bible study program for free. On it was a line for a prayer request. I wrote "100% Conversion." After a life full of so many struggles and confusion about God, I wanted what God offered, and I wanted it to stick! I completed the lessons and became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Some time after my baptism, I began doing some door-to-door outreach near the church with my cousin, who became a member as well.

I established one consistent drop-off Bible study with Dawn. She completed the course and was very grateful for all that she had learned. We became friends. She gave me a birthday present after seeing on Facebook that it was my birthday. In the card was a $100 gift card for Family Christian Stores. I decided to use it to get supplies to help with outreach efforts and a brand-new Bible. I had only ever had Bibles gifted to me—I had never chosen one.

I found the perfect Bible and so many other great things. One item that caught my attention was a painting of Jesus helping His persecutor, titled Forgiven by Thomas Blackshear. As I looked at it, I remembered my prayer request years prior: "100% Conversion." Praise God! Through understanding God and breaking through many deceptions, I experienced so many breakthroughs!
