VBS Workshop Equips Leaders for "Race of Faith" Program

Seventy attendees gathered for a Vacation Bible School (VBS) workshop at the conference office on February 9 focused on the theme "Race of Faith."

Sarah Canada, who serves as Children’s Ministries Director, introduced the theme and demonstrated how to effectively use the VBS kit. Members from the Belleville church shared effective promotion strategies for the VBS program, including utilizing Strong Tower Radio. They also shared follow-up plans, decoration tips, and how to tailor programs for preschoolers and teens.

After lunch, participants participated in a mock Day 1 of the Race of Faith VBS program, and rotated through various stations such as Bible Story, games, snacks, crafts and the Golden Garage, a special station featuring STEM projects.

The day concluded with a time for corporate prayer, where leaders lifted up their teams, the planning process, and the children who will attend VBS, seeking God’s guidance and blessings for the program.
